My Story

Just before Christmas 2004 I was faced with a dilemma. I had owned 4 "brick and mortar" businesses over the previous 18 years, and had success in those endeavors. Owning your own business is central to building the American Dream of prosperity. The reality is that small businesses and corporate positions are what? They are 24/7, 365 day per year propositions complete with all the time stress, debt and high risk. Every company I had started required a large capital investment (at least $200,000 for each venture). All expenses such as Payroll, Taxes, Rent, Debt Service, Insurance, etc., got paid first, before me. That's right, owning a traditional business means you throw a bunch of money in the air and what lands in your pocket is what is left after everything else is paid. And who was always working the hardest? Me! At the end of the day, I was always just a little bad luck or a negligent employee away from loosing it all.

So in December 2004, something was gnawing at me. There I was getting ready to do it again, start ANOTHER Information Technology Services Company. A few weeks before deciding to join this business, I went to the bank to start the process of borrowing $250,000 to start what I thought would be another killer niche business. Would $250K be enough? Did I need $500K? I got back from that meeting wondering if doing the same thing I had done for 18 years was going to produce a different result. Times were different too. I had my 2 teenage daughters living with me, I had endured 6 spine surgeries from and accident I sustained in the field in 1998, and the thought of getting back on airplanes in pursuit of a decent income was bothering me. It became very apparent to me that I was getting ready to do the same thing, but having done it several times before, I knew the result would be the same; a 6 figure income for 100 hour per week commitment. It was time to explore my options further.

"There had to be a better way ... There had to be a way to earn a multiple 6 figure income while actually having a life, a stress free life ... something fun!". And I had wanted to do something I had never been able to do before, bring my kids back and forth to school every day.

So I went out on the Internet and found an opportunity that changed it all for me. What I saw was shocking to me. "How had I missed this during my Home Business research over the last 4 months." But there it was. A turn key, low startup cost, Internet business, that I could start right now. There would be no bankers or partners involved. After reviewing the information provided by my director, the decision was clear. There was NO DOWN SIDE to this business. 72 hours later I was up and running.

Over my first 90 days I was able to ramp my income to over $50,000 per month. You read it right, and it has stayed very consistent since then ... well at least consistently increasing. I was able to ramp my income to over $100,000 per month by the Fall of 2005. (Yes, you read that right too) Much to my surprise, I have stumbled into a 7 figure per year income (that's over $1,000,000), and there is absolutely no way that would have happened with a traditional business. No way at all.

The best part now is that I get to SHARE what I know with others enabling them to follow in my footsteps. I always heard that once you attain an income result that is substantial your purpose would change a bit. Well it has certainly happened to me.
